In January, Valea opened their newest office at Citykajen in central Malmö.  Establishing in this rapidly-expanding area has proven to be attractive for both clients and personnel, and provides a good basis for developing our business.

“Now we are continuing to strengthen what we can offer our clients by having recently recruited four more colleagues”, says Anders Havstam, Valea’s MD.  Those most recently recruited are Monika Colak, a lawyer, Katarina Dahlenborg, Patent Attorney, Maria Danfelter, European Patent Attorney and Susanne Flygare Willner who is an experienced patent administrator.

Valea’s new address in Malmö is Anna Lindhs Plats 4, which is located at the Inre Hamnen, in central Malmö.
A pleasant location, just by the water, next to Malmö central station, which is a node in the region’s communication network.  The area is in a phase of rapid expansion.  A number of innovative companies and accounting firms, lawyers and other consultancy companies have relocated here in recent months.

¨It is important for us to be easily-accessible for our clients, and have a working environment which attracts the best colleagues.  Through the latest recruitment, we strengthen our resources, especially to clients within pharmaceuticals and medical technology”, says Andrew Hammond, European Patent Attorney at Valea.

At the beginning of this year, six highly-skilled colleagues with a range of experience from the business joined our Malmö office.  Valea is now well-equipped to meet the requirements and expectations of our clients, and our new colleagues are very motivated and see the advantages of Valea’s client-oriented way of working, which is built on joining specialist competences, engagement with the clients, understanding of the markets and the commercial conditions.

Valea is one of Europe’s leading firms of consultants in the field of intellectual property. The company has around 90 members of staff who are skilled in all fields of technology. Our consultants combine high academic qualifications with many years’ experience of IP law. This knowledge is combined with an astute business-based understanding of our clients’ activities in both the short and the long term.  Valea values its client relations above all else. These relations are built on the competence and prompt service we offer as well as mutual cooperation stemming from trust and respect. The firm has offices in Gothenburg, Linköping, Malmö and Stockholm.
